Sharing the Perfect Spotify Playlist for Your North Garden Theater Event: A Guide

Updated: May 18

Music is a powerful tool for setting the mood and enhancing any event. Whether you're planning a birthday party, a post-performance party, or a wedding reception, a Spotify playlist can be a fantastic way to share your vision.

But how do you get your expertly curated playlist into the hands (or rather, ears) of your guests? This blog post will guide you through the simple process of sharing a Spotify playlist via email, ensuring your North Garden Theater event has the perfect soundtrack.

What You'll Need:

  • A Spotify account (free or premium)

  • The Spotify playlist you want to share

  • Your email client (like Gmail or Outlook)

Sharing Your Playlist:

There are two main ways to share a Spotify playlist via email:

1. Using a Link (preferred method):

  1. Open the Spotify app or web player and navigate to the playlist you want to share.

  2. Find the three dots (...) next to the playlist name.

  3. Click on "Share."

  4. Select "Copy Link." This will copy the playlist link to your clipboard.

  5. Open your email client and compose a new message addressed to info@northgardentheater.com.

  6. Paste the copied playlist link into the body of your email.

  7. Add a message in the body of the email explaining the playlist and how it relates to your event. Please include any special instructions or timing regarding when to play your playlist or songs within your playlist.

  8. Send the email!

2. Including the Spotify Code (Mobile Only):

  1. Follow steps 1-3 from the previous method.

  2. In the "Share" menu, choose "Show Spotify Code."

  3. Take a screenshot of the Spotify Code (a black and white square image).

  4. Attach the screenshot to your email to info@northgardentheater.com.

  5. Include a message explaining the playlist and how it relates to your event.

  6. Send the email!

Which method should you choose?

Both methods achieve the same goal, but they cater to slightly different preferences:

  • Link: This is the simplest and most universally compatible option. Anyone with an internet connection can click the link and access the playlist, regardless of whether they have a Spotify account.

  • Spotify Code: This method is more visually engaging and requires the recipient to have the Spotify app installed on their phone. Scanning the code with the app will automatically open the playlist.

Additional Tips:

  • Write a descriptive message:  Let your email recipient know what the playlist is for and how it connects to your event.

  • Keep it updated: If your playlist is constantly evolving, feel free to send updated versions to info@northgardentheater.com.

By following these simple steps, you can easily share your Spotify playlist with the North Garden Theater team and create the perfect soundscape for your upcoming event.
