BEFORE...

The old Garden Theater found on West 7th (or Fort Road back in the day) in St. Paul, Minnesota, enjoyed its heyday in the first half of the 20th century showing movies. The Garden closed down in the 1960s and was turned into a warehouse for a local casket company. Soon, the property fell into disrepair and was slated to be demolished by the City of St. Paul.

AFTER...

In 2015, local actors and entrepreneurs Ryan and Tina North secured a stay of demolition for the building and purchased it with plans to revitalize the property into a live performance and events venue. The space now hosts weddings and receptions, parties, fund raisers, as well as provide a rental venue for theater, music, dance, arts, and other events.

The historically renovated North Garden Theater seats up to 150 guests. Cast iron trusses float high in the air below 20 foot tall wood ceilings supported by century old brick pilasters. This industrial chic setting is highlighted with black carriage house sconces and a central chandelier… an ideal backdrop to add your personal flair. The North Garden Theater features theatrical lights, sound, and media, full bar, and open concept space to plan the event of your dreams!
